I’m Hannah.
I’ve spent the last nine years teaching English Literature and First Language English across England, Hanoi and Mexico City.
I love giving students the tools to feel confident going into their exams, and helping students understand concepts better, then being able to write about them eloquently.
My approach to teaching combines passion, support and patience with unwaveringly high standards to help students achieve the best possible grades.
Now, I work with IGCSE and IB international students all over the world helping students understand what is needed to succeed in English so that they can achieve the grades that they are aiming for.

Every session is 1:1, tailored to your syllabus and the areas you'd most like to strengthen. I've taught English Literature and First Language English for nine years across England, Vietnam and Mexico, and I work with students online all over the world.
You might notice some references to A-level English Literature on my site. I used to offer it, but because of the wide range of set texts involved, I’ve decided I can serve students better by focusing on IGCSE and IB, where I can give each text the depth it deserves. I’m gradually removing the A-level content, so if you come across anything I’ve missed, thank you for bearing with me.
